eQ delivers a seamless migration solution for General Electric

GE modernized its product lifecycle management (PLM) system by upgrading from Teamcenter 8.3 to 11.2 with NX. The challenge was to execute this large-scale migration while standardizing data and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations across its enterprise systems. To meet this challenge, GE partnered with eQ Technologic to utilize their eQube®-DaaS service.

eQ Technologic implemented a solution that included a phased data migration, beginning with a bulk transfer followed by incremental updates. They applied an ETLV methodology to extract, transform, load, and validate the enterprise data, and they implemented a common data model to standardize information. This approach resulted in the successful migration of over 200,000 items with 99.99% accuracy. The solution provided by eQ Technologic ensured operational continuity throughout the process and ultimately enhanced collaboration and efficiency across GE's business units.
