How Vodafone Archibus Web Central and dashboards support billion dollar savings initiative

Vodafone, the global telecom headquartered in Berkshire, faced a company-wide £1 billion cost‑reduction initiative that required re-evaluating how it used 1.45M square feet across 44 buildings and nearly 7,000 employees. To ensure occupancy rates above 95%, speed up space and employee audits, introduce web self-service and improve data visualization, Vodafone engaged Eptura to deploy Archibus solutions, including Space Management, Move Management and Web Central dashboards.

Eptura implemented Archibus Web Central with dashboards, CAD overlays and web-enabled Move Management to replace spreadsheets and enable desktop move requests, vacancy tracking and integrated AutoCAD views. The platform lets Vodafone run its UK quarterly census in a single day instead of weeks, supports about 7,000 moves annually, identifies buildings below the 95% occupancy target, and has dramatically reduced the cost of managing over 1.4M sq ft—helping Vodafone progress toward its £1 billion cost‑savings goal.
