UMass Memorial Health Care (partnered with the University of Massachusetts Medical School) manages nearly 8 million square feet across 146 buildings and struggled with fragmented, paper‑based space and lease processes, time‑consuming annual surveys, and poor campus mapping that impeded A‑21 reporting and administrative efficiency. To centralize and modernize these functions they selected Eptura, using its Archibus integrated workplace management solution to consolidate space, lease and GIS data into a single platform.

Eptura implemented Archibus for space, lease and move management, launched an online space‑inventory survey, and integrated the Archibus repository with PeopleSoft and ESRI ArcGIS to create a geospatial portal. The solution automated space and geographic data collection, halved survey time, reduced man‑hours, delivered thousands of dollars in operational savings, improved A‑21 reporting and reimbursement, and enabled better campus mapping and wayfinding.
