San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) faced an inefficient, fragmented capital project management process spread across spreadsheets, Microsoft Project, Maximo and SAP that prevented reliable data sharing and multi‑year planning. To centralize project, space, asset and financial management, SDG&E turned to Eptura’s Archibus solutions, deploying Archibus Capital Budgeting and Project Management as the core of a new integrated IWMS.

Eptura delivered a phased implementation—including gap analysis, process reengineering, data mapping, customization to replace Microsoft Project, and SAP integration—so Archibus could provide bi‑directional data exchanges and unified reporting.
