How a world-leading identity security specialist leveraged workspace usage data to better utilize and optimize their office space, creating an adaptive work environment for their employees

SailPoint, a global identity security specialist, needed a way to support hybrid working across its 700-capacity Austin headquarters and satellite offices while improving office utilization, empowering employees to book space as required, and gaining workspace usage data. To address this, SailPoint partnered with Eptura and selected a workspace management solution including desk and meeting room booking with Microsoft 365/Outlook integration.

Eptura implemented its booking platform (desk and meeting-room booking, Outlook calendar integration, visitor management, facilities reporting and analytics) after an initial purchase in August 2020 and full rollout in January 2021. Adoption is high—with roughly a 50/50 split between Outlook and the Condeco app for bookings—and Austin daily headcount dropped to about 200–250 people versus 700 capacity, enabling SailPoint to remove many individual workstations, create larger collaboration spaces, reserve areas for teams via business rules, and optimize cleaning and visitor processes using Eptura’s analytics.
