Case Study: Prospera Technologies Achieves Stable, Observable IoT Data Pipelines with Epsagon

A Epsagon Case Study

Preview of the Prospera Technologies Case Study

How Prospera Technologies is Monitoring their IoT Farming System Using Epsagon

Prospera Technologies, an agriculture technology data company, needed a way to unify and monitor huge volumes of diverse farming data coming from sensors, APIs, emails, manual uploads, and legacy systems. Its AWS-based distributed pipeline had to keep data coherent across multiple stages, while also handling issues like latency, completeness, and memory constraints in Lambda functions. To gain better visibility, Prospera turned to Epsagon for observability across its modern data pipeline.

With Epsagon’s automated observability and distributed tracing, Prospera was able to monitor its ECS and Lambda-based pipeline, trace Django API requests through to RDS, and quickly troubleshoot exceptions, timeouts, performance problems, and out-of-memory conditions. Epsagon helped the engineering team identify root causes faster and stay ahead of failures, improving the stability and consistency of Prospera’s data pipelines as the company scaled.
