A Epoch Case Study
Reddit, a global social media company, faced the challenge of scaling its organic, community-led internal culture as it grew from a small single-location team to a distributed workforce of thousands. The Experience team, led by Michelle Lozzi, needed a solution to centralize event discovery and foster connection without using a tool that felt corporate or disconnected from the Reddit brand. They partnered with vendor Epoch to find a solution.
Epoch provided a seamless, branded experience that Reddit called its "community bulletin board." The solution gave global visibility to events, supported a mobile roadshow series, and became a one-stop hub for Employee Resource Groups. Using Epoch, Reddit achieved a 96.2% account activation rate and found a direct correlation between event engagement and top employee performance, using the data as an early warning sign for retention risks.
