Travelodge, the UK’s largest independent hotel brand, needed to improve recruitment amid labour shortages, Brexit-related uncertainty, and a complex careers site that was hurting candidate attraction and mobile usability. The company wanted a more engaging, brand-aligned experience for its Eploy ATS-powered recruitment journey, especially to reach wider candidate segments beyond EU workers.
Eploy implemented a redesigned, fully integrated careers site with dynamic content, improved search, responsive navigation, job alerts, and richer storytelling about Travelodge roles and culture. The results were strong: completed web applications rose 145% in the first four months, weekly visitors increased from 3,400 to over 73,500, and page views jumped 2005% from 15,600 to 328,000 per week.
