Case Study: Islington Council achieves faster, more inclusive recruitment with Eploy

A Eploy Case Study

Preview of the Islington Council Case Study

Ambition to build cohesion through modernising the recruitment strategy

Islington Council, a public-sector employer focused on diversity, community cohesion, and HR transformation, needed a more flexible and transparent recruitment process than its legacy ATS could provide. Working with Eploy, the Council sought to modernise recruitment across council and school hiring, improve inclusion, and support multiple recruitment types including apprenticeships and education roles.

Eploy implemented its complete talent acquisition platform, including applicant tracking, recruitment CRM, analytics, onboarding, and a candidate portal integrated with the Council’s careers site. The results included a faster hiring process, with average vacancy creation time cut to 3 minutes and average time to hire at 10 days after one month, plus a 64.67 Net Promoter Score, 954 applications submitted, and 2,184 candidates registered. Eploy also helped drive measurable inclusion gains, with 86% of interview panels showing ethnic diversity, 78% gender diversity, and 7% of external hires joining as apprentices in the last 12 months.
