A Episerver Case Study

Using digital to inspire interaction with nature

Friluftsfrämjandet is a Swedish non-profit outdoor association with over 82,000 members whose mission is to encourage activity and participation in nature. They needed a clearer, more engaging digital presence to boost member engagement and mobilize users to co‑create activities and services.

Nansen implemented a new Episerver-based site that simplified content, prioritized user needs and made the site the organisation’s primary channel for arranging activities and dialogue. The “Get Involved” feature lets members create and join their own adventures, while photography and real‑time Instagram feeds provide ongoing visual inspiration—delivering higher engagement and a strong foundation for continued digital development.
