Co-operative Travel (Co-op Group Travel Limited) consolidated two sites into a single master site to become the UK’s largest independent travel agent and to compete more effectively in a crowded online market. The challenge was to build a highly engaging, dynamic site that could quickly surface the latest deals, reduce booking drop-out and attract repeat visitors.

Working with Ultimedia, Co-operative Travel implemented Episerver CMS with integrations to its booking engine (Traveltek), Tripadvisor and Google, dynamic offers updated automatically every four hours (with manual override), IP-based localisation, social sharing tools and managed Everweb hosting. The result was a 95% increase in visitors, a 217% rise in revenue and improved conversions, with ongoing upgrades planned for enhanced personalisation, mobile and SEO.
