Prezzo, a UK casual-dining chain, sought to translate a recent offline rebrand into a stronger digital presence to fend off increasing competition and new tech-driven entrants. Their challenge was to attract and convert more casual diners into loyal customers by delivering a mobile-optimized, personalized digital experience that used customer data and marketing automation to better understand and segment diner journeys.

Partnering with Zone, Prezzo launched a new Episerver CMS website integrated with ExactTarget ECRM, Episerver Campaign, Episerver Find, Bookatable and social APIs, hosted on a scalable Amazon cloud solution. The mobile-responsive site, single customer view and automated marketing flows improved booking and engagement capabilities — early results show increased voucher redemptions, takeaways and gift card orders, indicating stronger conversion and user experience.
