Lyko, which grew from a family salon into one of Scandinavia’s leading hair-care e-commerce sites, sells 40,000 products and handles up to 36,000 orders per day. In 2013 the company saw a strong surge in mobile traffic while its existing platform underutilized functionality and underperformed, so Lyko set out to find a faster, fully responsive solution.
Working with partner Avensia, Lyko implemented Episerver Commerce and launched a responsive site to improve the mobile experience. The new site lowered bounce rates and boosted mobile conversions to nearly match desktop levels, giving customers a faster, easier shopping experience.
