Giant Eagle, a leading privately owned multi-format food, fuel and pharmacy retailer with roughly $10B in annual sales, ~400 stores and about 4 million customers, aimed to modernize its digital marketing and replace its CMS to support an omni-channel strategy and future e‑commerce. The challenge was to find a scalable platform that would unify content and commerce, improve customer experience across touchpoints, and enable faster digital marketing execution.

By implementing EPiServer to combine content management and commerce, Giant Eagle quickly added features such as online gift card sales, shopping lists, eOffers, recipes and an improved weekly circular—without costly integrations.
