Generation Green is a British Gas environmental programme aimed at pupils, parents, teachers and schools, but it faced a crowded marketplace and needed an engaging, original way to cut through and motivate participation across the UK education community.

LBi built an interactive site on Episerver CMS for speed and flexibility, featuring school profiles, pledge-based “leaves” redeemable for prizes, message boards, a schools database with Google Maps search, and five themed games for children. Backed by TV and online promotion, the site attracted over 9,000 schools (around 3 million children), generated 300,000+ hours of classroom learning in six months, and earned LBi the Best B2B campaign at the UK Revolution Awards.
