IGD, the world’s leading research and education body for the food and consumer goods sector serving over 750 corporate members, needed its website to better support corporate communications, charitable and commercial activities. After outgrowing a bespoke CMS, IGD selected Episerver for its functionality and roadmap and appointed Netcel to deliver the new platform.

Netcel scoped and implemented an Episerver-based CMS integrated with IGD’s back-office systems (including Microsoft Dynamics), building secure membership tools, a bespoke events module linked to the booking system, improved search and content categories, and a flexible front-end framework. The new site supports large daily content updates, multilingual and mobile channels, streamlines editorial workflows, improves user experience and has delivered clear ROI with very positive post-launch feedback.
