Edgy website works for modern apprenticeships

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) needed a more engaging, easy-to-manage Modern Apprenticeships website aimed primarily at 16–24 year olds (and also employers). The existing site was outdated, difficult to update, lacked multi-lingual support and motivating imagery, and needed a clearer voice to drive action.

TEC engaged Intergen to implement Episerver CMS with Mondo Search, giving publishers greater control, forward-publishing and expiry tools, and built‑in multi-language capability. The redesign introduced bold, youth-focused visuals and customizable backgrounds, was delivered on time and on budget, improved search and maintenance, supported a website migration to Episerver, and coincided with growing apprenticeship uptake (about 9,400 apprentices, a 13% increase in 12 months).
