Cancerfonden - Customer Case Study

Cancerfonden, Sweden’s leading cancer organization, wanted a stronger online presence to better serve supporters and communicate its work. Facing high expectations and a need to adopt social web practices, they selected long-term partner EDB (implemented by EVRY) to take overall responsibility for concept, design, technical development and hosting.

The result is a new cancerfonden.se built on Episerver CMS with an Episerver Relate community: the homepage highlights incoming gifts with donor name and photo, while users can debate, donate, start gatherings, find like-minded people and message each other. With Google Mini for fast, accurate search, the site makes it easier to engage supporters, demonstrate that each gift matters and present research outcomes.
