Case Study: Beijer achieves streamlined web, product and media management with Episerver CMS

Beijer redevelops website and extranet

Beijer Byggmaterial AB, one of Sweden’s leading building‑materials suppliers with about 1,500 employees, a 3.5 billion SEK annual turnover and more than 50 locations, needed a flexible web editor and a single media database that could integrate with existing business systems and support both their public website and extranet.

Sogeti implemented an Episerver CMS solution (including EPiStore and ImageVault), integrating a product catalog with Beijer’s business system, creating a centralized media library and adding import/export functionality to partner e‑commerce sites. The new site simplified content updates, improved customer service—giving users clearer product overviews, building tips and web‑based purchase lists—and continues to be enhanced in collaboration with Beijer.
