South Dakota Department of Social Services partnered with Epicosity to address a growing public safety issue: a consistent five-year rise in violent crime, driven largely by meth activity in both urban and rural areas. The challenge was to raise awareness of meth’s life-altering and destructive effects and help reverse these negative trends across the state.
Epicosity responded with the “Meth Changes Everything” campaign, using extensive research interviews and a series of 10 impactful videos promoted through Facebook and Instagram to drive traffic to MethChangesEverything.com. The campaign generated more than 6,200 Facebook likes in its first five months, reached over 250,000 people, drove 10,000+ site visits, and led 2,300+ unique visitors to sign the anti-meth pledge.
