Wadler Brothers is a family-owned, 40,000 sq. ft. lumber and building supply store in Fleischmanns, New York, founded in 1959 and serving contractors and retail customers. As the business grew, the Wadler siblings needed to replace paper-and-pencil processes with technology to improve efficiency and support expansion.

They implemented Epicor Eagle along with Document Management, iNet, Signature Capture, and Business Advisor. The system sped point-of-sale transactions, provided real-time SKU and inventory visibility, cut purchase-order creation to about one tenth of the previous time, and allowed 75% of customers to receive emailed invoices (reducing postage and paperwork). Electronic document attachment streamlined concrete invoicing, and Business Advisor’s reporting improved purchasing decisions and sales forecasting—turning many processes that once took hours into minutes.
