Village Ace Hardware, a family-run hardware store in Ruidoso, New Mexico, had relied on Epicor for nearly 30 years but was using only a fraction of its Epicor Eagle system. As a small business without dedicated IT or business-management staff, the store struggled with limited reporting, inventory visibility, and point-of-sale security.

Through Epicor’s Business Accelerator program a consultant worked onsite to implement quick, practical changes: separate cash drawers per cashier, uploading Ace order data into Eagle, and building Business Advisor reports and custom Viewers. Staff were trained to create and use these tools, yielding real-time sales and inventory data, more accurate inventory levels and purchase history, faster, better buying decisions, and immediate improvements to business confidence and performance.
