A Epicor Case Study
Farwest Sports, a Fife, Washington–based sporting goods retailer operating Sportco and Outdoor Emporium with 180 employees and roughly $48M in annual sales, offers more than 60,000 outdoor and firearms-related products. Facing the need to provide timely, actionable information across the organization to sustain double-digit growth, the company required a retail system that could support inventory-driven buying, checkout operations, firearms tracking, and multi-channel selling.
Farwest implemented Epicor Eagle and the Epicor iNet eBusiness Suite with add-ons (scanner guns, gift cards, serial-number tracking, credit-card swiping and web integration). The system delivers custom reports to buyers, enables desktop order printing/email/fax, syncs inventory with major retailers, and lets wholesale customers manage accounts online. As a result, Farwest supported 52% revenue growth over three years, streamlined inventory and ordering decisions, and successfully consolidated an acquired store onto a single platform.
