Ideal Concrete Block Co., a fourth-generation, 100-year-old family business, needed to replace its end-of-life Falcon POS system as demand surged and peak-season transactions reached up to 400 per day. The company also wanted better data access and reporting than Excel-based workarounds, while keeping the ease of use of its existing point-of-sale process. Epicor BisTrack was selected to support these needs.

Epicor implemented BisTrack to connect Ideal Concrete’s two retail operations and manufacturing business through a single, clean POS and stronger business intelligence tools. The results included real-time reporting, better margin and inventory visibility, a detailed manufacturing costing system, and at least a 75% reduction in paper usage. Ideal Concrete also said its business doubled from 2017 to 2022, and Epicor helped improve invoice accuracy and handle the growth without adding backfilled administrative work.
