A Epicor Case Study
Standex International, based in Salem, New Hampshire, is a global manufacturer with about 4,700 employees, 90 plants across 17 businesses, and a product catalog of more than 48,000 items spanning job-shop to repetitive manufacturing. Faced with aging, centralized mainframe and dispersed minicomputer systems, Standex needed a flexible, low‑cost ERP that could support mixed-mode operations, multi-plant consolidation, and global/local requirements while reducing support burden.
Standex selected Epicor Vantage and standardized its plants and corporate functions on a multisite, hub-based model (consolidating 45 systems into seven hubs). Using Vantage and Vantage Business Intelligence, they improved management reporting, cut labor and support costs, simplified training and onboarding, and accelerated integration of acquisitions—delivering strong reported ROI and better operational visibility.
