Shrink Packaging Systems Corp. (SPS) is a New Jersey–based packaging materials and equipment distributor (founded 1970, ~60 employees) serving pharmaceutical, food & beverage, publishing and manufacturing customers. Facing an aging text‑based ERP that hindered customer service, reporting, data access and new‑hire onboarding, SPS set out to replace its legacy system to improve efficiency and information availability across its sales and service teams.

SPS implemented Epicor Prophet 21 (with Service & Maintenance, DynaChange® Portals, Epicor Business Analyzer and the Epicor LMS) to streamline processes, reporting and training. Since go‑live, sales have risen 30% without adding staff, new‑hire training time is down to roughly one‑third (5–7 days), data access and navigation are much easier, reporting is pushed to mobile devices, and the ERP conversion was transparent to customers.
