Revere Electric Supply Co., a Chicago-based electrical distributor with five stores serving OEMs, machine builders and panel shops, needed to streamline inbound order processing for customers that couldn’t or wouldn’t implement EDI. The company wanted a solution that required no process changes, specialized IT infrastructure or customer-side expertise and would reduce manual dual‑entry and errors.

Revere implemented Epicor Eclipse with the AutoOrder module to automatically convert emailed or faxed computer-generated purchase orders into electronic sales orders. In a pilot with 30 customers the solution delivered 75–95% faster order entry, improved accuracy, lower processing costs, greater customer satisfaction and freed staff to focus on higher‑value tasks, with plans to roll it out to more accounts.
