PWI Takes Fill Rates, Efficiency to New Levels with Epicor Indago WMS

Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI), one of North America’s largest privately owned distributors of replacement automotive parts, needed to modernize its outdated ERP and warehouse systems across four distribution centers and improve real-time inventory visibility, labor efficiency, and order fill rates. To meet those challenges, PWI selected Epicor Vision along with Epicor Indago WMS.

Epicor implemented a unified platform that gave PWI real-time inventory tracking, same-day receiving, and better insight into warehouse productivity across its network. The results were strong: average daily fill rate rose from 94% to 99.5% in the first year after go-live, annual wall-to-wall inventory counts were eliminated, and managers gained the ability to redeploy staff more proactively based on demand and performance data.
