Permastore is a UK-based, internationally recognised manufacturer of bolted modular tanks and silos (founded 1959) that had used Epicor Vantage since 2004 to transform its quote-to-order-to-cash process and triple order value. By 2008 the legacy system was limiting new functionality and integration with plant machinery, so the company decided on a clean upgrade and full data migration to a next-generation ERP to remove technology constraints and support future growth.

Permastore implemented Epicor ERP and used the Epicor Data Management Tool (DMT) to migrate more than 160,000 items across 40 imports, cutting the data-migration phase from an estimated 2–3 months to 2–3 weeks. The in-house team revised 13 configurators and leveraged Epicor’s BPM capabilities to align systems with real-world processes without code changes; the result was a quicker go-live, immediate efficiency gains, and a scalable platform that supports the business going forward.
