Paca Industrial Distribution, a Kitchener, Ontario–based hydraulic and pneumatic distributor with 23 employees, needed better access to data and more efficient workflows after outgrowing an outdated ERP. The company sought improved demand forecasting and easier electronic communications to reduce paperwork and streamline operations.

Paca implemented Epicor Prophet 21, using Advanced Demand Forecasting, EDI, DynaChange portals, document linking and Signature Capture, supported by LMS training and internal superusers. Since go-live, sales are up 26% while headcount rose just 8%; inventory turns increased from 5 to 8 with service levels at 90%; warehouse labor fell from 4.5% to 4% of sales, and about 90% of paperwork was eliminated.
