A Epicor Case Study
National Standard Parts Associates (NSPA) is a Pensacola-based manufacturer of heat-shrink terminals, tubing, tools, and electrical specialty parts for the automotive, marine, and trucking aftermarkets. Facing the need to cut costs, streamline procedures, increase revenue, and spot anomalies in real time, the 50-employee company sought a system to unify disparate data and drive operational efficiency without substantially increasing headcount.
NSPA implemented Epicor ERP to centralize finance, inventory, order tracking, and shop-floor data into customized dashboards and automated reports. The result: roughly 60% sales growth over five years, tripled manufacturing capacity and a facility expansion to 90,000 sq. ft., faster decision-making (month-end close reduced from five to three days), fewer backorders and human errors, and a surge in new value-added products and services that positioned NSPA as a preferred supplier and enabled entry into new markets.
