MFI Consulting & Technology, the IT division of Nairobi-based MFI Group, needed a world-class, flexible ERP that could meet the functionality and affordability demands of challenging African markets. Traditional Tier 1 packages lacked the adaptability and industry-specific features MFI required to scale its services for medium-sized enterprises across diverse sectors.

In 2010 MFI became an Epicor Value-Added Reseller and deployed Epicor ERP, migrating existing clients, investing roughly $1M, and using Epicor’s partner programs and support. The change boosted profitability, accelerated expansion across Africa and into the Middle East (Dubai), strengthened MFI’s market position, and delivered measurable growth and regional recognition.
