Case Study: Menasha Packaging achieves enterprise-wide efficiency and supply-chain cost savings with Epicor BVP

A Epicor Case Study

Preview of the Menasha Packaging Case Study

Menasha Packaging implements Epicor business system for cost savings along the entire supply chain

Menasha Packaging, a Neenah, Wisconsin–based manufacturer of corrugated products operating more than 20 plants nationwide, needed to sustain rapid growth by achieving operational consistency and management visibility across locations. Individual plants used different core systems, leaving managers without a single database and limiting the company’s ability to connect systems with key partners such as supplier Innovative Packaging and customer Maytag.

Menasha implemented Epicor BVP as a single, multi-plant ERP and added B2B integration with Maytag and Innovative Packaging, automating order entry and tying customer, production and supplier processes together. The rollout consolidated processes and management reporting, cut order-processing time dramatically (from hours to about 20 minutes for its supplier), reduced errors and transaction costs, improved delivery accuracy and productivity, and set the stage for standardized best practices driven by empowered user groups.
