Keim Lumber is a fourth-generation, family-owned lumberyard in Charm, Ohio, serving builders, remodelers and DIY customers since 1911. Facing a need to replace its legacy system and unify retail, hardwood manufacturing (accumulation, drying, remanufacturing) and third‑party integrations for dispatch, delivery and estimating, Keim sought a single ERP to improve efficiency and scale without adding headcount.

Keim implemented Epicor Catalyst with Dispatch and Delivery Management (DDMS), Business Process Management (BPM), a millwork configurator and Document Management, plus dashboard tablets for drivers. The result: dispatchers can schedule hundreds of deliveries per day (one scheduled 330 orders), drivers capture electronic signatures/photos, millwork pricing is faster and more accurate, 2,500 monthly statements are automated, and the company is handling higher sales volume and growing revenue with the same staff.
