General International Group is a Dubai-based engineering and facilities-services firm with over 30 years’ experience delivering fire safety, security, water treatment and facilities management to 1,000+ customers. The company struggled with a legacy Oracle database and custom GUI that wasn’t a true ERP—leading to manual Excel-based workflows, slow reporting (reports could take days), poor visibility across Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices, and error-prone processes.

To address this, General International implemented Epicor Cloud ERP with local partner Cork Information Technology, deploying financial, procurement, logistics, project management and quoting modules. The cloud solution automated sourcing and quotations, connected warehouses for real-time visibility, enabled weekly and customizable reports, and delivered predicted procurement and manpower savings; it also supported a seamless shift to remote work during COVID-19 and provides scalable, repeatable processes for future expansion.
