KMF, a UK precision sheet‑metal manufacturer based in Newcastle‑under‑Lyme, expanded from basic parts to complex, made‑to‑order solutions for more than 200 customers across diverse markets. Rapid growth and increasingly bespoke orders exposed weaknesses in its legacy systems: limited end‑to‑end processes, poor management information and insufficient visibility and control to manage higher order throughput and customer expectations.

KMF implemented Epicor ERP as a single source of truth — using its MRP, bill‑of‑materials tracking and configurable order routing — with a cross‑departmental implementation team and about 120 daily users. The system automated reporting and customer communications, improved decision‑making, stock turns and process control, reduced manual reporting and helped KMF process orders faster, giving the business the visibility and scalability needed to gear up for continued growth.
