Grupo PEOSA (Plega Envases de Occidente) is a Mexican manufacturer of corrugated and preprinted packaging with plants in Guadalajara and León and a sales office in Mexico City, employing 850 people. Rapid growth revealed limitations in its 2001 homegrown system—lack of real‑time manufacturing visibility, shop‑floor control and automatic production scheduling—leading to manual production programming in spreadsheets, delayed accounting, and slower decision making.

To address this, Grupo PEOSA implemented Epicor ERP (project launched in November 2007, first phase completed August 2008) to add shop‑floor control, automatic production programming and integrated finance. The company gained one‑click access to reliable, real‑time production, administration and billing data, full tracking of production and sales orders, faster month‑end closes (results by day 3 vs. day 12), improved inventory control and better customer service.
