ERIKS Seals and Plastics Inc., a Fort Worth–based industrial services provider with about 150 employees, wanted to boost enterprise productivity by automating order entry while avoiding disruption to customers’ existing processes. Using Epicor Prelude since 2001, the company aimed to eliminate time-consuming dual entry so customer service reps could focus on higher-value service.

ERIKS implemented Epicor AutoOrder to capture computer-generated POs and automatically create electronic sales orders (integrating with Prelude, Prophet 21, or Eclipse) without OCR or process changes. The result was faster, more accurate order processing, freed-up CSRs for deeper customer support, a successful beta with 10 customers, and a reliable solution the company plans to expand.
