Epicor Provides a Lift for Certex

Certex is a Stockholm-based distributor and marketer of lifting equipment—from steel wire to cranes and safety gear—selling more than 7,000 items across Europe, the US and beyond. Facing complex, highly customized logistics and financial processes (including batch sales and tailored product orders), the company needed a flexible, modern ERP to replace an aging Unix system and support advanced order and inventory workflows.

Certex implemented Epicor ERP, leveraging its bill-of-materials module and flexible architecture to streamline matching components to orders, simplify BOM management, and speed searches and order processing. The result was improved productivity, greater logistics agility, easy user adoption (about 150 users and short training times), smooth upgrades and reduced reliance on external support.
