Epicor Knowledge Mentor Provides HCC Industries with Scalable and Repeatable Training Processes and Tools

HCC Industries is a Cincinnati-based electronic component manufacturer with about 1,000 employees across six business units and multiple U.S. sites. As an Epicor customer with 300+ ERP users and a planned roll-out of the MITS Report tool, HCC needed repeatable, scalable end-user training and supporting materials to ensure rapid adoption, consistent data entry, and multilingual support across dispersed locations.

HCC deployed Epicor Knowledge Mentor (alongside Epicor ERP and MITS Report) using Global, Author and Collaborator modules to produce demos, simulations, quizzes, online help and multilingual content. The on-demand, authorable training reduced costly in-person sessions, standardized learning across sites, improved competence tracking by user/role, and enabled staged growth—20 users trained, 30 more in the pipeline, with a plan to scale to 100 users—delivering consistent, repeatable training resources organization-wide.
