Epicor Indago WMS Brings Real-Time Visibility and Control to Fast-Growing Parts Chain

McKay NAPA Auto Parts, a fast-growing parts chain serving automotive, fleet, and industrial accounts, faced increasing warehouse complexity as it expanded from 16 to 23 stores and built a new distribution center. The company struggled to find parts quickly, experiencing up to 100 “zero picks” a day, and needed a warehouse management solution from Epicor that could provide real-time visibility and integrate with NAPA TAMS.

Epicor implemented Epicor Indago WMS to improve stock control, traceability, and warehouse operations. The solution helped McKay cut zero picks from about 100 to just 10 or 20 per day while supporting up to 4,000 lines picked and shipped in 24 hours, and McKay estimates it will reduce labor expense by 10% to 15%.
