KMF Group, a Newcastle-under-Lyme–based precision sheet metal manufacturer with ~550 employees and three sites in the UK and Slovakia, grew through recent acquisitions and needed to synchronise historical data from three disparate operating systems into a single ERP database to support unified operations and customer reporting.

By deploying Epicor ERP with the Epicor Data Management Tool (DMT), KMF imported, validated, cleansed and merged legacy data on a cell-by-cell basis—completing migrations in a weekend. The result was consolidated customer histories and richer reporting, the ability to sell companywide solutions, and operational gains including a drop in shipping order mistakes from 10% to 0%.
