GELITA AG, one of the world’s three largest gelatine producers, operates multiple global sites including two Chinese factories with very different production cycles and stringent food‑ and pharmaceutical‑grade quality controls. To support global growth it needed a customised resource‑management model and standardised business processes to handle complex, tightly controlled production flows and ensure regulatory compliance across markets.

GELITA implemented Epicor ERP in phased rollouts to integrate and standardise processes, improve traceability and maintenance visibility, and unify global data and resources. The solution simplified implementation, lowered costs, improved equipment utilization and compliance, and provided the scalability to enter new markets—now deployed in the PRC, Australia and New Zealand with further rollouts planned.
