Epicor Business System implementation leads to cost savings along the entire supply chain

The Woodbridge Group, a global manufacturer of urethane solutions for automotive, transportation, construction and consumer goods, needed a modern business system to support rapid growth and diversification across multiple countries. Their legacy software could not provide operational consistency, efficient EDI across the supply chain, or a single source of critical data, which began to cost them customers and bids.

Woodbridge implemented Epicor CMS, a manufacturing-focused ERP with financial, production, shipping, purchasing and EDI capabilities, plus customer and vendor portals. Using a train‑the‑trainer rollout, they deployed CMS to 21 plants (now implementing one plant per month), gaining real-time reporting, integrated manufacturing and finance, reduced paperwork, faster workflows, time savings, improved productivity and closer collaboration with customers and suppliers — enabling further diversification and potential centralization of operations.
