Epicor BisTrack hire module helps merchant to grow business

Thorncliffe Building Supplies, a family-owned builders’ merchant operating three sites across North Wales and the North West of England, offers building materials, waste management and plant hire. Although it had used Epicor BisTrack since 2005, Thorncliffe wasn’t using the system’s hire functionality and relied on a separate hire system, causing manual syncs, duplicate transactions and a lack of integration between hire and sales.

By implementing Epicor BisTrack’s hire module (initially at two sites) with strong Epicor support, Thorncliffe unified hires, ancillaries and customer data on one platform. The change sped up staff workflows, enabled one-ticket/one-invoice processing, boosted ancillary and add-on sales, and streamlined reporting — with plans to deploy additional BisTrack modules to support further growth.
