MP Moran is a family‑owned builders’ merchant with five branches in North West London and Hertfordshire, 170 staff and a stock range of more than 32,000 lines. Facing a 15‑year‑old “black screen” system that offered fast counter processing but poor reporting, little user control and virtually no stock‑management capability, the company set out to modernize its systems and improve visibility across purchasing, credit and sales.

MP Moran went live with Epicor BisTrack in January 2011, using role permissions, Smart Views/Dashboards, a Web Track customer portal and mobile scanning to digitize processes. The result was faster access to management information, tighter purchasing approvals and audits, much better stock control (trending, slow/non‑mover analysis and suggested ordering), reduced paperwork and 24/7 customer account access—freeing management to focus on business improvements and helping secure industry recognition.
