EMIC Modernizes Operations for Growth With Epicor ERP

Emirates Metallic Industries Company (EMIC), a Sharjah-based manufacturer of metal cans and drums founded in 1989 and exporting across MENA and Southeast Asia, was preparing to expand production but was hampered by multiple locally built, disconnected systems. These siloed systems caused manual, error-prone processes, poor inventory control, data manipulation that compromised financial reporting, inconsistent part numbering, and shipping mistakes that delayed orders and threatened growth plans.

Working with Knowledge Web Consultancy, EMIC implemented Epicor ERP (sales, purchasing, inventory, production, maintenance, finance) to unify operations. The system standardized processes and part numbering, increased visibility and interoperability across departments, improved inventory accuracy and order scheduling, reduced waste and costs, and strengthened controls—enabling better KPI monitoring and an upgrade to ISO 9001:2015 while supporting the company’s growth objectives.
