W&O Supply, a Jacksonville‑based marine and upstream oil & gas distributor with 286 employees and $160M+ in revenue, needed to give its field sales team fast, mobile access to ERP data. The company chose a best‑of‑breed CRM (Salesforce) but faced the challenge of integrating it with its long‑standing Epicor Prophet 21 ERP to deliver real‑time quotes, pricing and inventory at the point of sale.

Epicor implemented the Prophet 21 API to securely pull sales orders, quotes, pricing and live inventory into the Salesforce/iPad environment. The one‑directional API feed proved stable and delivered real‑time, accurate data that made salespeople more organized and productive, reduced office research time, and opened the door for further application integrations while strengthening W&O’s partnership with Epicor.
