DGI Supply (DoALL Company Inc.), a Wheeling, Illinois–based industrial distributor and the world’s largest provider of industrial vending and inventory-control solutions, operates 40+ locations and sells more than 1,500 brands and one million SKUs. The company faced a costly dual-entry problem: roughly one-third of inbound orders arrived by fax or email from customers without EDI, creating manual rekeying, slow processing, and added staffing burdens.

DGI Supply implemented Epicor AutoOrder to automatically convert emailed and faxed purchase orders into electronic sales orders in its Epicor Prelude system without requiring customer process changes or specialized IT. The change reduced order-processing costs, improved accuracy and speed, freed a full-time employee from re-entry work for higher-value tasks, and has been rolled out to 20 customers with plans to add more.
