When upgrading to Epicor ERP the company faced complex challenges: extracting and transforming legacy data for import, integrating disparate systems and sites, and automatically triggering processes both inside and outside the ERP while preserving business rules and the core Epicor code.

Communisis implemented Epicor Service Connect alongside Epicor ERP to visually design workflows that transform, route and automate data between Epicor and non‑Epicor systems without touching core code. The solution shortened data import time (saving at least two weeks), automated ~800 daily transactions and 1,200 stock adjustments, cut invoice delivery from two days to two hours, and delivered measurable gains in productivity, accuracy and maintainability that the internal team can run themselves.
